Triple Charmers??

What is with this sudden uprising of triple charmer and double charmer teams in GL? I've just gone 2/8 because every single match I went into today was against a team of AT LEAST 2 charmers, and my team can handle charmers fairly well. But they just don't even need to play around shields. They just charm spam everything down in their way.... Honestly just not sure the poison type buffs from a few seasons ago was quite enough to shut down the egregious strength of Fairy type mons with Charm as a fast move.
