PoE camera without nearby network cable

When everyone started working remotely, we got a chance to do some remodeling and I was able to sneak in a budget for rewiring the office from Cat5 (not Cat5e but Cat5) to Cat6. Now, I was asked to replace all wireless/wifi security cameras with PoE cameras. Most locations don't have any data cable running near them. What options do I have without going back and asking for another wiring project?

Right now, I'm thinking of a wifi extender with Lan port and PoE injector to power and network those PoE cameras. Any other ideas?
