Is it anxiety or intuition?

I have anxiety issues (OCD) and I do take medication for it. I’m typically not a hypochondriac and am normally level headed when it comes to medical issues regarding my children. My 5 year old son saw hematology as an infant for normocytic anemia (never found the root of it) after labs stabilized on their own, we were told to follow back with his PCP. Last year, he had his blood drawn for pale complexion and behavioral changes. He had low iron and we started an iron supplement. Fast forward to now, he has been losing weight over the past few months, refusing to eat much, incredibly pale and overall unwell looking. Increased fatigue and just “off”. We did labs again last week and everything came back normal except his RBC was low, hematocrit was low, RDW slightly elevated and moderate keytones in urine. I requested to be sent back to hematology for a follow up to make sure we were still in the clear concerning the anemia and was told that he’s not anemic so there’s no reason to go to hematology. I’m genuinely confused because is t anemia a reduction in RBC? Weather that be iron deficiency etc? Should I consider pushing a little harder for the referral or is my anxiety causing me to be irrational thinking something is wrong when it’s not?
