36 [M4F] Indiana/online Widower father of one looking for real conversation

In the perfect storm that has been my life of late, dating is not on the list, nor an interest. The toddler and I have great conversations, but they just don’t fill the void.(And neither do the ones with current or new friends) Just looking for hopefully long term adult conversation. If it ends up making a deep connection then so be it, but that’s honestly not the intention.

I’m a college educated, midwestern misfit, music lover, who has been as lucky as I have been unlucky. I would like to think that I have enough life experience to relate or at least be able to converse with most, but maybe you could show me different. At the end of the day I am just an open minded guy looking for something different than what I seem to find around here.
