What major do I pick?
I am currently being given certain options of majors that my employer will pay for in full if I go to school (currently in an accounts payable position). It looks like my best options are an accounting bachelors from SNHU or a business administration bachelors with a focus is accounting or finance from SNHU. I have looked into being in accounting, an FP&A financial analyst, a budgeting analyst, or in purchasing.
A little background about me: I really enjoyed analyzing inventory and making purchasing decisions in a previous role I held, but I am also good with numbers and enjoy analyzing data/making reports. Making budgets and planning has always been huge in my personal life and I can't get enough of it - when I go on a trip I spend hours looking over deals and making spreadsheets/budgets of the entire trip. I am definitely a major introvert as a side note.
What major do I choose if I am unsure? Does anybody have any career recommendations? I always pictured I would go with accounting since I am already in the finance area, but I despise taxes and am questioning if I would be bored.
