Military flyover this afternoon - Murphy / Brasstown area

Hi all, I'm visiting Brasstown (on the Clay / Cherokee Co line) and this afternoon a military plane flew over, very low and loud. I live in Guilford Co so I'm not familiar with the military presence in this part of the state. Any guesses of where the plane came from? Is it pretty common to have flyovers in this area? We were all just curious and I offered to ask Reddit :)
