Does conscious consumption (eating certain foods at certain times to extract the most benefit) overcome the negative aspects of anti-nutrients?

Anti-nutrients found in lots of plants can block, bind or inhibit certain vitamins, proteins and minerals from being properly or efficiently absorbed.

My question then is: can you circumvent this problem by using the same technique as supplements

(For example, you are advised to not take calcium and iron supplements at the same time, because they interact and inhibit absorption, so instead take calcium 4 hours before iron and the iron will properly digest, because the calcium has already been absorbed).

I wonder if the same principle applies, to where even if you eat unhealthy amounts of anti-nutrient rich foods, if you still got your vitamins/minerals digested in a meal some time before you eat said anti-nutrients, then you're unaffected.
