Roe v Wade

You know, as a 14-year-old POC girl, I always assumed things would only get better. We're in the "progressive age" right? And yeah the past few years were terrible but most that weren't rEAlly in our control- no one could have predicted a literal pandemic.

But then the Supreme Court got outed for trying to get rid of Roe v Wade I don't know why it took me so long but I really think we can't move forward until we get rid of the Patriarchy if that makes sense?

Of course, the general public has been becoming more and more accepting but as long as we're ruled by old cishet white dudes, what's the point?? I don't want to be a downer but this genuinely makes me so angry. I'm not even American, I'm Canadian but this is just... ugh. I'm also just tired of the people that won't take me seriously because wOaH Im a TeEnAgEd gIrL iM ToO yOuNg!1!!1!

I understand that as a teenager there are things I won't get, but I wish people wouldn't ignore or exclude my opinions either

Honestly, I don't even know anymore :/ I just wish people would stop trying to dictate others' lives
