Does anyone know how long injected Vivid II (abamectin) stays active in a tree?

We've used it on a non-flowering willow tree to kill spider mites and it works great. We also have an ornamental plum that is infested with scale. If the injections are applied after the blossoms fall off, will there still be enough insecticide in the tree to kill bees next spring when it flowers again?
