Masters of Secondary Teaching advice

Just quickly, is anyone here that has done this able to tell me:

• What the workload/contact hours is like in relation to having a job in the meantime? Step dad scared me by saying as its only 2 years, the workload will be so intense that I will have to quit my 3 day a week job.

• How easy is it to find prac/ a job afterwards? Step dad also scared me in saying that teachers often choose bachelor students over masters as bachelor students have more experience with teaching etc (step dad is a primary school teacher)
