unable to watch virtual lives

i’ve had a problem since the last niigo event (in WW) where i’ve been unable to view the lives, either in the public rooms or when i’ve created my own (both say connection error even though my connection is fine). and the last time i was able to get into one, the screen was white with the normal icons.

is anyone else experiencing this? is there a way to fix it or am i just doomed to never watch one again and get the crystals
