HOW TO CHANGE MY NAME FOR DELTA?

I travel all the time for work, and my work flies Delta. My name in their system is Nick, and the name on my license is Nicholas. I do not remember making this decision... It's a big deal. You can't just change it I've tried. I asked them if they could and they're like "We can't change it." And I'm like I don't know where we go from here... If you can't do it who can do it.. Is this why people call senators do they do it... What you have to do, you have to mail your birth certificate in. Some mom's give their children their birth certificates. I never received mine... I thought I was the proof of my birth.. It was lost. So, I have to deal with it.

Once I was checking a bag, and the guy sees the ticket says Nick and my license says Nicholas, and he looks up shaking his head and says "This is not good. These don't match." And I'm like but they match, right. You can see the leap we took to get from one to the other... He's like, "This is not good." So I asked him what do you want me to do... He was like you should go home. So I'm like I'll give you that those names don't match but something I think is gonna help that I like that they've always done is the picture on that ID... So I think with 70% of the name matching and 100% of the face... can I get through... IT ALWAYS GOES LIKE THIS. I missed a flight on a connection and got stuck in Detroit last week. DETROIT. I have called their toll free number. I have spoken with managers in every airport. I mean what do I do.
