Budget 2p backpacking Tent Recommendations (around $300 or less)

I'm putting together my first set of backpacking gear. I had my eye on the Paria Zion 2p tent, but was informed that they probably won't have it back in stock for at least 8 weeks, and I was hoping to get a trip together in June. I'm having trouble finding any comparable options that are close to that price. $169, 53 inch wide non tapered floor with 2 doors so it's actually possible to have 2 people in that 2p tent, and just under 5 pounds all in (heavy sure, but certainly not 6 pounds + like other tents in this price range).

The REI Half Dome SL 2+ is on my radar being that it will be comfortable with two people, and it weighs slightly less than the Zion 2p, but it's almost double the price.

Anyone know any comparable tents to the Zion 2p that are around the same price? Or failing that, have any recommendations for a tent around the price of the Half Dome SL 2+ that might be a better option. I should also note that I'm not planning on splitting the weight between my girlfriend and I, because there will be trips where I use this tent alone and I want to make sure i'll be able to fit it in my pack (volume and weight wise).
