Just a funny event at the post office

I thought this was really funny so I wanted to share. I go to the post office to apply for a passport, brought in my old birth cert with deadname, name and gender change order, and new birth cert with Real Name. Postal guy is confused by there being two birth certs. I explain oh the girl name is a deadname, and then Jason is my real name. And this man. Just casually says. "Oh, ok so [redacted] died, and then Jason was born." And I was like. Yeah dude! That's it that's exactly it great job my man you got it. It was so funny and turned a vulnerable experience into an easy one. I told my partner about it and he laughed so hard he screamed.
