I almost got killed 3 times today on 295

I was driving on 295 today, and had 3 crazy close calls.

1. You know how when you get on 295, there's either an exit or an on ramp immediately ahead. So I got on 295 , I'm in the right lane, can't switch to the middle lane, and a car is hauling ass down the on ramp ahead. He didn't slow down at all and I just barely avoided a crash by flooring it. I know, I should have slowed down instead of flooring it, but I was driving an ambulance (I'm an EMT) and there's a nice long blind spot to the rear, so I had to assume I'm being tailgated (it's Jersey after all).

2. I'm in the left lane coming around a bend and I suddenly see a dump truck just parked on the left lane. Zero warning signs, cones, or lights before the truck, just a few flashing ambers on the back of the truck. I couldn't switch to the middle lane, and had to slam on the brakes and come to a complete stop on freakin 295.

3. I'm in the middle lane and suddenly there's a car zooming over from the right lane about to side swipe me. He was going a hell of a lot faster than me so we missed each other by a few inches.

All this shit happened within 10 minutes of each other.

If you think I'm the asshole, please tell me what I could of done differently. I don't wanna die.
