are mental health problems shameful?

Why is it shamed? is it really supposed to be shameful? i mean i am depressed and i would think being depressed isn’t shameful but then there are other mental disorders that are considered shameful like being a psychopath, sociopath, pedophile, etc… are those supposed to be shameful?
