How Can I Empty Out An Object?
I got an anime figure stl to 3d print, it came in a lot of pieces, but when all of the stls are opened at the same time they are arranged like this
This is what the joints look like when they are seperated.
I joined all of the pieces together into one model with Ctrl+J, but the joints and sockets still exist on the inside, and there is a small space in between them that Chitubox still renders. When printed as is it comes out like a print in place, with some of the joints rendering into each other, and other joints completely free for the pieces to come apart. I want to completely fill in the model, and remove any geometry on the inside. Is there a built in way to handle it?
I'm thinking that if I can turn a square plane into a kind of wrapping paper that covers the entire object it will create a complete shell without any of the gaps.
there is a ton of detail on this so the wireframe mode doesn't even help at all. I can't even see through it to find the joints and smooth them out.
