Is it common to not hear back from vendors quickly?

Hi all,

I have reached out to quite a few vendors to gets quotes / see if they are available and I am not getting that many responses. It’s mostly with the florists, and I am just wondering if this is common? How long should I wait before looking else where? For some it’s been almost a month and still no response.
