Fred Meyers night freight people seem cool. I’m getting 19.85 an hour! Is that average? Is my whole body gonna hurt the next day?

Boss dragged two tattoo’d night freight dudes into the office during orientation and made them tell us how great it is. It was hilarious. They seemed relieved- actually one vocally expressed relief- that there are more employees to help them. Boss sped us through everything, filled out our tax forms for us (wow) and offered to do any paperwork we “couldn’t find the time to totally finish”. Talk about a labor shortage! This is my first time ever doing freight. I do yoga an hour a day and 100 squats/crunches. Small and female but Im in pretty good shape. Am I gonna be in horrible pain in a few days? Pretty sure the freight dudes smoke weed, but this is Oregon so everyone does I guess. Will I ever get a raise?
