How clean does this need to be before priming with BIN

The picture is after giving the left side and bottom a good going with krud kutter degreaser AND a mr clean magic eraser. (I previously tried TSP Substitute and it did nothing).

The whole kitchen is like this. Previous owner used some vintage monster stove that I think pumped out lots of smoke.

I intend on using BIN to prime with. How “clean” do I need to get this before I can lay down the BIN?
