Frame loss spikes

Hi all,

Recently started playing Destiny 2 and I'm having issues where I'm having large lag spikes(frame loss, not network-related). It definitely happens big when loading new areas, like running into lost sectors etc, or when lots of particle effects go off. But it also seems to happen randomly and be (somewhat) minorly always present. I have noticed that memory usage is in the 95-98% while running the game, and definitely caps out at 100% frequently. I have 16 gigs of ram and my PC runs at 18-20% with just base processes running.

I am updating my graphics driver right now, but it's not that old--just updated it in November.

Could anyone help me understand possible avenues to address this? Thanks
