I call this poem Angel VS Demon (kind of a song too)

I’m tired of living the life that I hate Feeling this way day after day I know there is something out there so great If I could just find the gate, to a world that is fate Open the doors, see the light, find something to let me know there is life Life that I want, life that I love Just look at the angels that are there up above They’ll show you the way They’ll show you the dark days will eventually fade They’ll show you the demons and that they won’t stay So that maybe you will grow up to be something great

If you want a life to love you gotta give your all If you do not find that love you’re gonna always fall Then eventually you will lose it all Fall on your face Without any grace Pick yourself up and He will show you the way

He will show you the way If you listen to him He might show you everyday that life is okay, that it isn’t grey, that life has many colors that you can make He will Show the world you could love, show the world your light, show the world that you can turn on the light Turn on the light and blind those demons out Leave them out, there are not there to scare They are not the ones who truly care They are there to tear out your light, to not make you ever so bright They want to ruin, they want to give you a do in for all that you ruined But don’t listen to them show them the life that you will have proven

Jesus saves, Jesus saves He will not show you something that is depraved He will show you that you can be brave And you won’t be controlled by the demons that have you enslaved Break away from them Break away from them Show that He has got you away from them The ones who tear out your soul, the ones that are always so cold But he is the warmth, the warmth of his love That love that is above everything and always we trust
