Why is it so hard to find people that are willing to be my friend?

It’s not because I’m rude/ not nice or anything, it’s because of my age. I can never find anyone that is around my age (15) or just anyone that is above my age that wants to be friends, I would love to have more friends that don’t mind my age, if you would like to get to know me, shoot me a message in dms.
