Frost Dragon's Lair Crashing Game

Hello, so my friend and I have been trying to complete the Frost Dragon's Lair coop adventure and about 1 out of 5 times our game freezes (windows application not responding). Is anyone else having this issue or is there a fix for this? We have been trying to beat it for days pls send help.
