Trying to find a TD game I saw previously (Fictorum-like, First or Third person spellcasting, not sure if fully released)

I recently came across Fictorum and actually thought IT was the game I was looking for, but I don’t think it is.

I recall seeing a video for a tower defense game made in first or third person that favored heavy on special effects and spellcasting. The maps were quite large areas you could overlook from above to teleport from place to place (I think) or literally walk there on your own as enemies spawned from portals. I swear it looked SO much like Fictorum, but Fictorum isn’t a tower defense game.

Any help would be appreciated! My Google skills are currently failing me and I think it may be because the game is still in Alpha/Beta and possibly not on Steam yet.
