Landscape Editor grid is disappearing as I move the camera?

I'm relatively new to Unreal Engine and I can't figure out why in the landscape editor, the grid's vertical lines disappear as I move the camera around. If I move the camera downwards, the horizontal lines disappear and it's nothing but black as well. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this normal?
