Preview 360 mod lens before recording?

I just bought an Insta360 One RS Twin. I'm new to the 360 mod thingy.

When i use the 360 mod, i can see myself but i can't seem to swipe left/right/up/down to preview the whole 360 view before i take a photo/video.

Is this how it's really supposed to be? I take the footage blindly and edit in post? Are there other workarounds?

Any tips/tricks from veterans would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
