AITA for being mad at my husband

my husband and i are nearing our two year anniversary. we had a baby almost four months ago. my husband’s uncle is getting married in june but the wedding is in WA and we’re in VA. his uncle sent money for us to get plane tickets to come, but what he sent wasn’t nearly enough to cover the flights for the two of us, let alone somewhere to stay for the whole weekend.

i thought my husband would say that we just won’t go, but instead i find out he bought a ticket for himself 🙂

he’ll be gone for four days. leaving me to take care of our infant alone, while he gets to go to another state and have as much fun as he wants. i normally don’t complain, but i spent the majority of my postpartum period at home alone with our son. i literally have to beg him to spend time with me because i am so deprived of human interaction and all of my friends work full time jobs or live out of state.

i just truly don’t think it’s ok of him to have just decided to take the flight. especially to be gone from friday to tuesday when the wedding is on a saturday! he’s just a guest and not even in the wedding itself.

i know i’m probably just being bitter and childish but i’m truly so upset with him. AITA?
