Leaseback ends in 2 days. No word back from the sellers, no keys.

Happy happy joy joy, our offer was accepted and we signed off on those closing docs. Our offer included a 3-week rentback that ends this Thursday. If the sellers stay over that amount of time, they pay $200 a day. But we haven’t heard anything back, and we’ve already cut our lease and called up utilities/internet to get them set up and transferred over to the new address on Friday. We are all packed up in this tiny tiny apartment waiting to get moved in on Saturday.

They haven’t communicated at all in the past 7 days despite us prompting our realtor for updates and what to expect. If they needed to stay longer, then okay, fine, but we need to know this so we aren’t stuck in limbo.

Are we doing something out of turn? What’s the worst, best, and most likely scenario? Advice is appreciated 😕
