WIBTA if I gift different looking dolls for three girls?
I will have visitors soon my baby cousin's birthday, and in those visitors there will be two girls. The girls (7 and 6) are sisters and have never met my baby cousin (3).
Since it would be the first time that I met them, I was planning on getting them each the same type (style) of doll that I was planning on giving my baby cousin. The dolls are bjd dolls from AliExpress. I wanted to do that since the dolls look cute and I didn't want them to possibly feel left-out or unwanted (since gifts will be passed to my baby cousin).
Originally, I was planning on getting each of the girls different looking dolls (dolls with different outfits), but as I was about to purchase, I started to wonder if that was a good idea. I started to wonder if it was possible that conflict would come if they didn't like their dolls and wanted the doll of the other girl. I worry that doing that could cause trouble between the girls, the girl's mother, my parents, and me; in case doing that is a thing that is supposed to not be done.
WIBTA if I get each girl different looking dolls? Should I buy three of the same type of doll for each of them so that way they have the same thing and there is zero chance of fighting?
My original idea consisted on all three girls playing together with their respected doll during my cousin's birthday (or after).
