Duo 1 concerns

This isn’t the first or last variation of this question that you’ll see on here today, so I’ll make it quick. Prefer the design of the 1, namely the lack of camera bump. Don’t mind the camera as much or the lack of water resistance since I can find it used for sub-$300. 2018 processor scares me deeply. Will be using it for work, so snappy multitasking is a MUST. Will it keep up over time? How can I make it faster out of the box? Thank you.
