To those who are unlucky, how has your experience with getting your PS5 repaired been?

I just received my console back after sending it off for repair for the second time, surprise surprise the problem still hasn't been fixed. When booting up certain games just after the developers logo comes up, the console freezes, sometimes with a high pitched feedback type noise and only responds to a hard reset.

The people manning the phones have been great so far, I asked if they had access to a repair log so we could see if they were actually doing anything, alas they did not.

Currently waiting to hear back from a supervisor as to whether or not they will send me a brand new console next instead of just trying to fix my current one as I wasn't willing to send it off for a third time and potentially receive it in the same condition it's in now.

Has anyone else had to go through this? Just wondering what my chances of getting a new console will be with all the shortages?

I just want to play Returnal...
