Would you rent a room where the landlord‘s parents (60s) live in the basement? And why?

So basically I think ⬆️ is a red flag and a potential inconvenience? What do y’all think? The old couple has their own fridge and simple cooking equipments in the basement but casually come to the main floor to stir fry.
