Why the fuck would I have a child when A: the related pregnancy deaths are extremely high in America. B: my right to a medically lifesaving abortion isn’t there?

My sisters good friend’s wife was informed that her body is rejecting her baby that is already well developed (besides the fact that the fetus has no lungs, eyes, or kidneys). Her husband and her have to decide whether to try and take the baby to term, or to have an expert come in and induce and deliver it. Both are extremely risky. Her life is in danger. You know what would be the safest choice? Medical abortion… and that’s not an option in their state.

Here’s the thing: her and her husband are very republican. Now they have to face something that they never thought they would have to. And his wife, who he absolutely adores may die now either way.

I am just so fucking upset. These are the actions, wether being passive, or thinking that your family is somehow safe in this country and voted GOP… has led us to this point.

Now they fucking know. And this story will just become more and more common. Maybe they will see. It will take death and destruction to see.

Why the fuck should it come to that.

Reach out to your senators. Reach out to everyone. Tell them we are fucking pissed. Roe V wade must be protected at all costs.
