Plants to use on a shady front porch?

I’m having a hard time deciding what to use in containers on my front porch this year. I usually do 2-3 containers next to my front door, which is shaded except for like an hour or two in the afternoon. I’m considering doing some houseplants that I could move indoors when it gets cold. Has anyone had any luck with this? Any inspo images are appreciated!

I’m in zone 7a, but I don’t know if that really matters for this 😊
