Programming Robot Inventor from a chrome book

Our school is considering switching our FLL teams from EV3 to Robot Inventor, and I was wondering if any of you have used chrome books to program the Inventor (and if so, which model). I’ve seen some mixed reports about compatibility. Thanks!
