M22 looking for a change from my corporate job

Hey everyone, looking for some advice. I live in Massachusetts and just graduated from a private business university with a Bachelors in Business Administration concentrating in Management and Political Science. I am currently in a remote tech sales job that was referred to me by a family friend. I absolutely hate it and everyday is miserable. Unfortunately, I have to stay a few months to salvage my relationship with my family friend.

I want to change to a job that is either impactful or to a job that is hands on and adrenaline pumping. Ideally both. I have always gravitated toward the fields of politics, business, emergency services, and law enforcement.

I have been thinking of pursuing a job in fire services or law enforcement but feel it would either be a waste of my degree or not provide enough opportunities for impacting my State/Country.

I feel like I have wasted my university experience, time, and money. Any opinions on jobs or paths for me to take?
