New hire, red flags?
I was just hired as a bather/stylist apprentice last week and have been doing my computer training. However, something has stuck with me since the interviews and I'm not sure if it's a huge red flag or if I'm looking too much into it.
I had two interviews, one with the store leader and one with the salon lead (and store leader after for a few minutes.) The first interview the store lead mentioned that the salon had a tendency for "drama" but didn't elaborate. The second interview they mentioned it again but said there had recently been "drama" that had since been "dealt with." They mentioned this twice in a quiet voice and also mentioned the salon having a high turnover rate, plus how they had lost multiple people in the last few months for various reasons.
When I was interviewing with the salon lead, she said she tends to try to "scare people away" from the position, despite being desperate for help and saying they had zero bathers anymore.
Is it worth it to try to stick it out and see things for myself or should I try to find work elsewhere??
