how do i get my dog to stop peeing every time someone greets her?

my dog is an 8 month old maltipoo and every time someone greets her, she gets so excited that she ends up peeing everywhere (even on her tail since she tucks it between her legs). she’s been doing this since we got her 6 months ago and it is obviously getting to be really annoying having to clean it up every time and just simply having a dog pee in the house multiple times a day. the only time this doesn’t occur is when she has peed in the last 15-20 minutes. how do we get her to stop doing this? is this something she’ll grow out of? is it a small dog thing? pls help

oh also is this considered submissive urination?
