Wanting to get a Rabbit!

So as the title says I'm wanting to get a rabbit. Looking around and doing research I do have a question about where to keep a rabbit. First off I'm thinking of getting a dwarf rabbit baby so it would be easier to train to be around me and in current surroundings. That said I would be keeping it in my room exclusively. I would have a proper sized cage while I'm not home, but when I am I would take out of said cage to roam about and be with me. Is it ok to keep a rabbit in a single room? I'd appreciate any advice
