Name misspelled on US passport and stupid middle name

I am so bummed about this. I just got my passport in the mail and they misspelled one letter in my middle name. There’s no excuse for this misspelling, you have to spell your name like 3 times on the form. Now I have to spend more money to send a passport correction form in the mail. I also have to take a new photo. I’m surprised it only took me a month to get my passport the first time, but it’s completely useless with the misspelled name.

Honestly it makes me feel even worse because it was my middle name. I’ve already been made fun of by both my parents for the middle name I chose. Everyone always asks me what the hell is that and even thinks I’m joking when I say what my middle name is. It’s not even that uncommon, but it’s only found in Europe. I should’ve chose something generic. I’m worried I’m also being denied jobs because of my name, I keep getting rejected. I guess I just picked a stupid middle name.
