New utility sink has 3/8” supply lines but previous sink used 1/2” FIP to connect to pipe. Can’t figure out which adapter I need.

Our utility sink broke, so I bought a new stainless steel one. The previous utility sink used a 1/2” FIP to connect to the iron pipe. The new sink uses a 3/8” supply line.

I just picked up a 1/2” female OD x 3/8” OD adapter, but the 1/2” side doesn’t fit on the iron pipe that the 1/2” FIP fit on.

Can anyone let me know what adapter I should be using?
