Questioning my purchase

I bought a Celestron Powerseeker 80 EQ recently. I've always been interested in stargazing, and wanted to see if my interest would lead to a hobby. Now having read some forums and here on reddit, I'm wondering if I did myself an injustice by not spending a little more money.

So my ? to you all is, do you think this scope is powerful enough to enjoy the night skies?
