Non-EVs With Green Plates
Background: In the UK, Electric vehicles are allowed to have a green rectangle on their plates to show they are EVs. (It’s where the EU info usually is, but well, yeah.)
Recently I saw a BMW i8 with it on their plate and today I saw a Toyota Auris with one. These markers are only to be used by full BEVs.
Has anyone else seen these shenanigans in the UK or with your equivalent identifiers in your country?
