Teaching jobs in Washington State

Hi everyone,

My partner and I have been teaching for the past five years in Wisconsin and are looking for teaching jobs in western Washington. She is in Elementary and I am in secondary social studies. I recently got my National boards and am finishing my masters.

We have been applying in Western Washington from Bellingham to Vancouver and haven’t heard for anyone yet. I know that it is early and it can be tough to make assumptions, but I’m curious to know if there is much of a teacher shortage/are chances of getting hired?
