Someone commented on another sub that they do it themselves - takes about an hour every week and they have mastered it now. Saves time and money.

Oddly, it’s less painful that armpits IMO. Also it lasts more like two to three months but yeah, still an appointment to repeatedly make.

I tried removal cream twice. It was quite cheap, around 8$ for a bottle. It didn't work well. Some hair fell, some hair didn't fell. I guess some more expensive creames might work better.

Waxing looks too painful, to be honest. Tried it once - underarms - and swore to never go back.

Also, making that appointment every few weeks is gonna cost a lot and take time.

Edit to add: doing anything with hair removal does not change the thickness of the hair or make more hair grow.

I heard that laser removal is a good investent, but I didn't try it yet. I'm a little scared of the pain.

I shave my ass the same way I shave my balls . Dry and a new blade. Always nice and smooth when done.

Don't hair is there to lessen the friction, thus allowing for less skin tearing when having sex.

If you can bear the light pain, and make sure you remove it in the recommended time, I've found that nair works best. It's not as messy and sticky as wax, and not as expensive as laser hair removal. When I was a teen, I chased that smooth hairless look, and used nair on my legs and back on occasion. Of course, I go for the all hairy look now, but my legs and back are definitely lighter on hair from just a handful of uses from that period of time. Just don't apply it directly on or around your hole. I think the sensitive area nair is maybe safe, but you would have to check.

I have a hairy ass. Getting it waxed was great and wasn't painful compared to my chest or pits. For convenience I've tried a number of dipliatory creams and found Veet to be the most effective and easy on the skin. I'm not sure how it would be for anyone anyone else,  but i can even spread it over my hole without irritation.  Getting it on my taint is a different story ! You can buy it at Target or order it on Amazon

I don't even bother. Too much of a hassle for something that doesn't even feel all that pleasant. And then there's the issue of ass bumps...

That being said, a body trimmer tool can help keep the hairs around the butthole extremely short.

why remove it? You are opening up a can o worms, here, methinks.

When that hair grows back, you'll need to attend to it fast, or sit on your desire to have it stop itching as it returns!

I used hair removal cream with aloe and it doesn't burn it does the job really quick a girl told me about it I will never have hair again

1. What's the best way to remove hair that's on the ass?
2. Since  I've never done it before, the hair right now is soft and doesn't come in the way of sex. I don't want to get harder or thicker hair strands down there in exchange for smoother skin. That would be an issue, I  assume. So, any way to avoid that?
3. Any other thing I should be mindful of?
