As an American, I agree with this message

while at it, let's get rid of pennies, too. useless, just like SCOTUS

why "after recent events"? The USA has had, for a very long time, the highest incarceration rate of any country in the world.

No, because that would be a more honest assessment of America, which would be way less American.

“We need a third party” that gets shot down by both parties and by the media that mostly favors one party.

Your taxes are withdrawn automatically every time you buy something or get a pay check, so good luck not paying them.

Revolution…. Okay maybe not a full on bloodbath but seriously, if 100 million people just said, “no. No taxes this year! Dafuq are you gonna do?!”

It's not actually named ministry of truth, but I get your point. It's tragic. We need a third party.

Considering the fact that the government opened a ministry named: ministry of truth, I'd say freedom will go in decline very quickly.

The top 1% in America pays more in taxes than the bottom 50% combined. "Free from taxation" applies to the bottom 52ish %, who after cash and cashlike government transfers, pay literally zero taxes whatsoever.

They cut the most important part when drafting the anthem as such,

"land of the free ~~from taxation of land and wealth for those who own it~~"

You mean to tell that the racist dude with a massive F-350 that roles coal has a fragile ego? Color me shocked.

THANK YOU! Gahd I feel like I've been the only person dropping those c-bombs on these pieces of trash

You forgot to mention transphobic. They're so scared someone might go into the wrong bathroom and look at their peepee

Why? Any specific reasons that aren't abortion / muh gun rights?

Im less than half ur age and im voting straight Republican this November

FUCK CNN, MSNBC, AND FOX, NEWSMAX, ONEDUMBFCKNHICKNETWORK AND ALL THE GODDAMN PROJECTION

No, wait--fuck American news in general. 👌

See, you're even projecting here. I mean, at this point, are you even capable of switching it up a bit?

Oh god, we've already reached this low in the barrel. Any moron that says something like this doesn't need the internet, they need CNN or FOX to tell them how to feel.

It's definitely not the home of the brave.

Current Republicans are the most frightened, fragile, precious little snowflakes I have ever known. Scared of their own shadow, expertise doesn't exist to them, they are now yelling at teachers and doctors, etc.

Just the most cowardly bunch of people I have ever known in my entire life (I'm almost 60).

Well it IS the "land of the free" except the "r" is silent in "free"

That would require self reflection and an acknowledgement of wrongdoing, something we don't typically do in the US

So tell us, how’s it feel Thinking women shouldn’t have rights to their own body and that Rape babies should be protected?

I hate this subreddit now. Exactly the reason r/TheLeftCantMeme exists. Its now terrible and just terrible anti-american posts.

It’s like when a country has “Democratic” or an organization has “family” in their name. You know it’s bullshit.

nah without it the pyramid scheme won't function properly

It's actually a typo, supposed to be 'land of the fees, home of the caged'.

USA should have removed "Land of the Free" after the War on Drugs began. We are the most incarcerated nation in the world at around 638 people incarcerated per capita (roughly 2,000,000 people) and that doesn't include the other roughly 4,000,000 people who are on probation/parole.

They didn’t mean Free for the people… they meant corporations and the wealthy. You have misunderstood.

O'er the laaaaaaaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaaaaaaaaand!

Okay seriously… if 200 million of us just stood up and said, “no, you can’t have any taxes this year” what would they actually be able to do? If we got pissed off enough about things they (Govt thugs) couldn’t mow us down fast enough to win. There is a way to revolt non violently and we should be doing it. We sit around blaming politicians for what is essentially our failures, we’ve gotten soft, lazy and well kept and we keep allowing this perversion of freedom to continue.

The problem isn’t politicians, it’s Americans. We’re allowing them to divide us and they’re going to win and this will never get any better and eventually we will fall. I hope I’m not here when we do.
