College/Career Path Questions to Become a Program or Project Manager?

Advice

Hello,

I'm currently a pre-nursing major freshman in college but I want to change my career path. I was always interested in CS and tech in hs and I took AP CS principal then took AP CS A before dropping it second semester. CS A was super difficult for me so I lost hope for a career in tech, so I looked into nursing mainly due to my mother's influence. At first, nursing looked like a great choice for me, but with everything going on with nurses I just don't want to pursue a career in nursing anymore.

A nursing major is hyper-specific unlike poli sci or business etc. where you can pursue a career in basically anything after college so, I want to change my major for more options. During a summer coding program in hs, I met with various speakers and I remember learning about program and project managers and it's been in the back of my mind ever since.

So I'm wondering what I should major in to become a program or project manager. I was thinking of transitioning to business with a minor in computer science but I'm just not 100% sure if that's the best move. Ideally, I want a career within a tech company hence the minor in CS, but I know that's very competitive so I would be fine at an entry-level job after college. Does anyone have any advice?
