Can Halo Infinite ditch the 1917 One-Shot approach to Cutscenes?

It worked in Infinite's campaign seeing as how there's so few characters and you're with Chief in 90% of the Cinematics, but it's starting to come off as gimmicky in this Seasonal (exposition dump) Cutscene. It's as if they're continuing to do it only because the Campaign did.
