Advice/Question for wireless charging repair ( Smartwatch)
Hi, I'm looking for help / advice / opinions on diagnosing a watch that wont charge, battery has been replaced it's not the battery's fault.
Watch in question is motorola moto 360, and i dont know how to diagnose if the charging coils are broken or the motherboard, so if anyone has ran into wireless charging repairs i'd really appreciate your advice. I've written more info about the issue below if that can somehow help diagnose whats the problem. I've inspected both the charging coils and the motherboard (only with my eye, no devices used) and i couldn't figure out any burn marks or anything that seemed off. I'd appreciate any kind of advice or opinion before resorting to last ditch effort solutions.
More info : watch deteriorated with time, sometimes it would charge only upside down or after shaking it. Watch does not heat up while charging which happened usually while charging( sometimes it gets barely warm, but just barely nowhere even close to what it was before). I have tried multiple chargers, even reverse wireless charging from samsung s10+ and a notification popped up on the phone saying " unable to charge device". Charger turns on a LED light when a device is placed for charging, so the charger detects the watch and still doesnt charge it.
Tried : Replacing battery , Removing new battery then charging without battery , All the button presses , multiple chargers
Many thanks.
